IN THE NEWS Windsong Espoir Update Windsong Espoir 2 1:55.3 ($759,136) (Kadabra - Diamond Image) was withdrawn from the OSS Gold Final on September 28 at Mohawk. Although finishing second in 1:56.2 Windsong Espoir wasn't himself in the Sept. 21 OSS Gold Elimination a Mohawk. Upon examination it appears that he has not fully recovered from the foot injury that occurred last spring. Owners Bill Loyens, Peter Heffering, Jerry Vanboekel, and Hope Stable have decided to retire Windsong Espoir for at least the remainder of the season. |
